Are there any anti-anxiety meds that dont cause profuse weight gain?

Well from my experience they all cause weight gain,BUT having said that the only meds NOT to have added a lot were Efexor XR then again it depends on the dosage.
Unfortunately it's a trade off for helping with depression symptoms that many cause weight gain.no matter how hard you work out,or diet.Cheers
well anti-anxiety meds basically means anti-depressants and i take effexor and i haven't gained anything. also i didn't gain anything off of zoloft
Buspar is what I was on for a long while and I never experienced weight gain. It does have side effects that go away after a month or so. It helped with my frequent anxiety attacks and smoothed out any other imbalances associated with it in the long run.
A "side effect" of Effexor is actually weight loss, depending. I take it, I lost a little.
