i take lithium, effexor, and xanax?

i am being weaned for the effexor for the panic attacks but the rest for bipolar. i am scared because i am sure that i was diagnosed correctly. i have been taking the meds for 2 months now and religously. why wont they work? why wont my mind work?

Don't panic. Keep taking your medications and talk to your doctor about your concerns but some medications take longer than other to start showing their effects. And that is because the drug has to reach a certain levels in your body before actually starting to work.

I had the same thing. Paxil is my new medium. It was the only way to stay calm and focused on the world and my life with out the constant panic and worry about the future or lack of a future. Of lonliness. Of loss. Paxil keeps me in check. I was diagnosed with slight bipolar, MDD, and OCD. Life for me is better with paxil, although it makes me sort of Garden State.
