polips on a penis would that be hpv for a man?

Question: This is a school question that I was never able to find out. Are penile polips caused by hpv or are they something else of another cause?

I know what polips are, but what's hpv? Sorry, I haven't had health class for a while. Does that have to do with papilloma virus. Is it human papilloma virus? Just guessing.
