It sounds to me like your mind it too full to shut down for the night.
I recommend "emptying" it by writting (in fact, I kind of think this is why you sometimes hear writers say they HAVE to write - otherwise their ideas give them no peace).
I would start by making a list of all the qualities you can remember about this girl - and if you can't remember, just write a list of everything you want in a girl. Incidentally I did this when I was ready to find my husband and I think it was about 1-2 months after I wrote my list that I did actually find him. Got all 50 things on my list too (except 3 things - not bad!).
Maybe you should start getting your super hero ideas down too - perhaps you have a million dollar idea there - you never know until you start getting it down on paper.
The internet dreams make me feel like you spend a lot of time on the internet. When I get a new crossword puzzle book, that is likely to be what I dream about, particularly while I am able to spend a lot of time on it. I also had a job many years ago Hostessing and I would very often dream about seating people while we were very busy.
There are ways to quiet the mind too. Some people go in for meditation. You can lay in bed and lay still and comfortably - then try to completely relax your feet, then shins - all the way up to your face. You will sometimes have to tense the muscle first and then release for it to totally relax.
You can also just breath deeply (see if you can count to 12 or 16 during each inhale and each exhale), or use a meditation tape. I would still keep a pen and paper by the bed so that I could write down my dreams or anything that comes to mind during bed time - particularly with what looks like a really strong imagination.
I hope this helps! Peace!

umm if u cant sleep tell ur doctor 2 describe u medican and get check out if you have a disease that make you see scary imigeas i suck @ spelling

if you can't sleep and can't remember most of ur dreams, you may have sleep apnea. (idk if i spelled that right) but that is what my dad had many years ago. he had a minor sugery and know a days they have a test they can give you and if you qualify u use this mask and it helps you sleep better. good luck! Sounds like you may have some issues going on in your life you need to address. There must be something going on that's causing these dreams, it's your subconscious and only you know what is going on in there, good luck
I'm not sure what you mean. You say you don't remember your dream, but proceed to tell us about your dreams.
Sounds like normal dreams to me. See if you're eating or drinking anything that might keep you awake. Try to relax before bed, take a bath etc.. If you can't function because of your sleeplessness then ask your dr..
Well, for one - you may be spending way too much time on the internet. Try taking a break from it for a couple of days. Also, try going to bed at a decent time.
I would say, Monday- go to your doctor and talk to him/her.
Have you been through any tramas lately? Watching too many movies?
Try making life a little more simple and see if this helps. Stay away from the tv/internet for a while - get some fresh air. :)
don't eat anything like 4 hours before bed. it works with my kids. they never have nightmares anymore. try creating a routine before going to sleep, settle down like 30 minutes prior to sleepin, brush your teeth shower put your pj's on & calm yourself down.if you still have racing thoughts close your eyes & think of something calming just dont think about the girl..try some natural supplements that will help relax you!
Well, maybe you're extremely exhausted and that may cause a lot of weird dreams. Also it depends if you have a heavy meal at night or even have a lot of stress through out the day. Sometimes that happens to me but it's when 1 of those things I just mentioned. Good luck.
i had the same problem man. i went to a doctor.MD not a sikologist and got some ambien works great

P.S. It sounds like you have a lot on your mind which is resulting in stress; hence lack of sleep or trouble sleeping
Without knowing how long this has been happening it is hard to even guess at the cause. Some mental illnesses do manifest through dreams.
If is a short term thing--say less than two weeks. Try increasing your physical activity where you are tired at bed time. Cut out all caffeine after 4 p.m.(This includes chocolate) no sweets after dinners. Establish a bed time routine. (Like we do for our little children) Make your bedroom just for sleeping--nothing else. Make your bedroom dark.
If it is long term over two weeks seek professional help. Start with a medical doctor and go from there.
Okay, I would (as a counselor) nothing is wrong with you. My first impression is that you have a lot stress right now. I also think that you do not feel fulfilled.
Remember dreams are usually about things that we are trying to work out, or are worried about.
the internet dream. ARe you dating enough? The internet can be very distracting, and very cool. but, like your dream, you can not see who you are talking to. And you only talk to them on the internet, then you are not really going out with them.
The superman dreeam sounds like you are trying to work out some major life choices. we would all like some superhero to work out our problems for us. Unfortunately, just like real life, we can either screw it up or save the day with our choices.
sounds like it would be a good idea to keep a dream journal, so you can look for patterns - hinting at things in llife that you are not dealing with.
Also a proactive approach might help you get some sleep, rather than feeling like a victim of your dreams.
Quit smokin' CRACK! I would look deeper into the real issues you have. I think that you have other things on your mind that you haven't delt with and they come back to haunt you at night. I experineced the same thing for about a month. I thought i was losing it but remember that in that point in time of my life i had alot of new changes going on in my life.
