You can't! You are trapped, as we all are.
I said I was going to quit -- but that was 3 levels ago.
your just trapped like the rest of us with no life at all. It's too late now!! They are training professionals as we speak to council people with this addiction for the up coming years.
Sorry - but I haven't been able to stop for several days either.
Get a ride to the far side of the Moon.
we should start a group clled YAA (youqa.com anonomous) I think it could help all of us hopelessly addicted to get something else done! :) I am trying hard myself.but to no avail!
I was addicted to youqa.com for about 6 weeks, but then I just snapped out of it. I don't know what cured this obsession, it just happened.
I am to! I just started a week ago and I love it. The crazy people are just so entertaining!! I'm also addicted to IMing! Problem is I just started so I only have a couple of people to talk to!
I just found it about a week ago and I cant stop either . It is very entertaining. I cant believe some of the questions and also some of the answers. I like how quickly people will answer you and are willing to help. I even think the stupid answers are some what entertaining. You don't - just enjoy the ride. Grab a glass of your favorite drink, sit back, and answer some questions.
There is no cure , no anti toxin you can take, face it you're hooked
open the window. unplug your computer and throw it out. make sure it doesn't hit nobody. and that's how the addiction stops.
You stop it like any other addiction, with a 12 step program.
1. We admitted we were powerless over youqa.com—that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to youqa.comaholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
AAARrrrrgghhhh - it isn't fair. I don't get to go to answers at work! WAAAHHH. Instead I have to stay up late at night reading the silliest and funniest and saddest stuff and then don't get any sleep and have to go to work with big bags under my eyes!
D**n you youqa.com! It depends on how much time you have on your hands and if you already have an addictive personality. I spent hours on here also right in the beginning but now I've toned it down some. Take breaks and go for walks. Limit your time on the net. Don't go on the computer unless you have to cuz it is too easy to end up on answers.
