Answers:
Physical activity - walking, keeping fit any form of regular exercise for 30 mins every day. Do you like pets - they can relieve stress - im a dog lover. Get more interests in your life to help improve your confidence, motivation and self esteem.

I know its easier said than done. Depression is tough. The fact that you asked this question means that you are anxious to solve the problem and make changes to your lifestyle. Well done for making that step. Others would just lay down and make no effort whatsoever to help themselves. Keep making small steps like this every day and you will beat it.

Good luck

Other Answers:
(1) Maybe up the fluoxetine for a while. I started on 40mg and upped to 80mg. Within 18 months I was back down to 20mg and now it's one tab every two or three days.

(2) Therapy. Good therapy. Three or four sessions with a seriously good private therapist are worth twenty with some eejit psychiatrist SHO who's just doing their hours so they can get a ticket.

(3) Go write bad poetry to yourself. Get it out

(4) Take serious amounts of time with all of the above. None of it will be helped by rushing. You can't rush a plant to grow, can you? It has its own time. Follow it, but nurture it.
