What should I expect when I stop drinking coffee?

Question:
It's now been over two weeks and I feel allot better for it.

Answers:
I used to drink 2 pots a day.but when I decided to quit smoking almost 2 years ago, I almost HAD to give up coffee too, because the 2 went together and it became a real trigger for me wanting to smoke.

I am down to about 2 cups a day and I feel so much better. I never realized the HUGE coffee addiction I had until I stopped drinking so much. I agree with the other's answers.it is difficult for the first 2 weeks.after that, you'll find you have MORE energy than you ever had before. Good Luck!

Other Answers:
Your consumption of beer is up.

Headaches then peace of mind headaches, lack of energy.it will last couple of days, maybe couple of weeks and you'll be fine

Good for you! Most of the time we experience horrible headaches the first few days without the caffiene. You might expect not to urinate so much as caffiene will irritate your bladder. But you know, coffee is actually good for you in moderation.

After a while without coffee you should feel less tension. Neck pain? It should ease up with out the caffeine.

you will be thirsty unless you substitute it with another form of liquid

Weird. I'd think you'd feel fat and lazy but that's just me. thirst??

if it has been over two weeks then you should be fine from now. the withdrawal symptoms only last for the first few days!!
