yes,it stems from an inner feeling of 'lack of self esteem' ie they dont really like themselves very much aka depression aka negative downward spiral-in a constant loop-not good ! if you care for the subject in question they seriously need to be reminded that all their mistakes are lessons and the first time they make even a tiny step in the right direction they'l; feel better and reverse the flow,tell them if nobody else loves them or listens to them ,i do-heres proof ! just in my humble worthless always getting it wrong opinion of course !?* x
