has anyone ever taken zoloft and not gained weight? maybe lost it?

When I first started taking Zoloft years ago, I initially lost about 10 pounds because I lost my appetite from the medication. Then, it kicked in and I started to feel pretty normal. Over the course of a year or so, my depression/anxiety decreased immensely. but I started becoming very ravenous and my appetite was difficult to satisfy. I have gained a lot of weight since beginning Zoloft. I'm trying really hard to get it off, but it's extremely difficult. It makes me crave things. It's strange. My advice to you would be to remain aware of it. You know going into it that this is a risk, so try to maintain your weight as much as possible. Don't let the pounds sneak up on you, because they will! All in all, the Zoloft made me feel so much better mentally, that I don't regret starting it. Good luck to you!
It made me numb (sexually) immediately, so I went off of it immediately. I dont know if it puts weight on you or not. My sister takes it, and likes it, and she hasnt put on alot of weight. But everyones different.
