exercise, particularly lift weights, an excellent stress and anger release,,,,

Other Answers:
I use to throw things, hit the walls, yell at people, etc. Now I laugh off whatever makes me angry. I also like to make music, because that usually keeps me from getting angry.

type in a journal. but that only ended up making me angrier, because somebody got hold of it and spread it around town Sleep.or write things down.

write it down

I curse, and if I'm mad at an object, I might break that object.

Most importnatly do not hurt anybody or yourself. For me hitting a pillow or my mattress is the best way for me to vent anger. talk it out or write in down, it is better than keeping it bottled up inside.

hit people

Go to the local firing range and squeeze off a few rounds.

Writing helps a lot, but the biggest thing for me is singing angry music. turn the marshalls up to 11 and play heavy, heavy chunny chords till it's all gone !

Scream in traffic in my car. :)
If I'm angry with a person, I write out a "letter" to him/her, telling of every little detail about what's brought me to this point. Even if you never deliver the message, it can be highly therapeutic to get it out on paper.

Write, scream, pray and then have a hot bath and watch a good movie I don't get angry. I get even.

goto the video arcade, find a game with a gun, shoot my stress away!

i will close my eyes for some time without doing any activities. this is the very best method to give up angry i think bcoz while u are closing ur eyes u will not talk to anyone avoiding putting any hard words in ur speeech which will help u from hurting others.
above that while u are closing ur eyes u can analyse where the mistake is! whether in u or in the oppposite party. Must consider that your anger only hurts you.. Is a very strong emotion and has never been known to solve any problem. But, it sure can create one in you. It then becomes just a waste of energy and does directly effect your body as well as your mind.

Need to work on the reason you allow yourself to get angry.
