can someone help please?

Question:
i am on serouqil to sleep and i have a hard time waking up in the morning but i cant sleep with out could someone give me some ideas on how to talk to my doc about this she insists i be on this pill

Answers:
My husband was on this med. but the doctor took him off of it. Now, it could be a high dose for you. There r more meds you can try. Just tell your doctor that it is hard for you to wake up in the mornings. The doctor might try you on new meds or lower your dose. Don't be afraid to tell the doctor that way you can fell happy about how these meds make you feel.

Other Answers:
Talk to your doctor and tell her you would like to try a different medicine that might not cause you to be so drowsy when you wake up. Maybe she could decrease the strength or recommend a less drowsy medicine so you don't feel so tired in the mornings. If she is unwilling to listen to your concerns, get a second opinion.

Switch to Ambien CR. I give it to all my hoes and it only lasts about 6 hours I was on it for my Psychotic symptoms never heard of it for a sleep aid though, but just ask for something like Ambien Cr or so or just forget it all together and find a different way of help. it does not sound all that bad. But remember you can always decide! Good luck!!.

just tell her your problems and tell her you need something a little less strong

i would ask for a lower dose or just cut them in half my self and see if that works

read the material that came with it and determine how many (if any) of the side effects you have (such as hard time waking up).
go over the list with your doctor

i can help you out. you should talk to her about a smaller dosage , or changing the time you take it at to better suit your sleep patterns. wake up super early then go about your day take the pill 2 hours earlyer , pass out at like 8 or 9 pm wake up well rested, drink coffee. you should be good to go! :D

call the doc !

Sedation is a side effect of this medication. Especially at low doses. Wonder why your doctor would insist on any one med. Talk to a doctor about vistaril, an antihistamine that is often prescribed for sleep. Avoid ambein if you can, it is addictive and in the long run will mess up your natural sleep rythmn. Also, what is the source of your sleep disturbance and what are you doing to deal with that?
