if you were heartbroken and listened to songs about heartbreak, well you were sad to begin with. but listening to sad songs does actually make you feel better. it helps you realize that there ARE words that can describe how you feel, that you are not alone. that's what i do when i feel heartbroken or sad -- i listen to sad songs. believe it or not, it makes me feel better. it makes me think that i am not alone and there are other people experiencing the same thing -- otherwise why would they put it in a song?
