Does anybody;s know if there is any physical change in a brain of a serial killer or criminal?

Question:
I heard about a theory that claims the frontal's lobe abnormalities are related to violent and criminal's behaviour.

Answers:
that hasn't been an accepted theory in a hundred years!?! it was once thought that frontal lobe abnormalities were responsible for criminal/violent behavior, and thus the development of the "frontal lobotomy".

Other Answers:
studies have shown that serial killers show brain abnormalities but i dont know if its been proved that brain abnormalities cause serial killers
i've heard that story too. Probably true. But the big factor contributing to violence is society itself, i think. If it is true, it's so bad we couldn't tell if somebody's frontal lobe is larger than normal.
I'm not so sure about the frontal lobe theory, but in terms of structural differences, studies have shown that different parts of the brain (e.g. the amygdala) show different patterns of arousal in psychopaths and criminal offenders. It's been shown that psychopaths tend to show reduced physical response to threat stimuli (e.g. a shock) and show reduced arousal when presented with fearful or sad faces, suggesting they have difficulty distinguishing these emotional markers.
they hav brain scans which seem to show
sociopathic criminals hav less inhibition for their behavior--
the frontal lobe is the area which inhibits, tellin us when not
to do somethin. i feel as a society we need to
monitor scientists and doctors closely, as in many cases
they tend to rush to conclusion. even as someone
without formal credentials i could see a problem this
instant--isnt it possibl very creativ and artistic ppl
would show this same low inhibition level?
