It's alright. you're young at heart! You need to stop hanging around people who take life too seriously!
I don't plan on being such a stone-faced adult when I get there (only seventeen now, lol). and I bet we'd be good friends. Perhaps, somehow -- you'll meet people who really understand what fun is. those are the kind that you need to learn from.
Everyone else is boring, honestly. Kick back and giggle when you can, chica!
well try to think about something else when u go to sleep Do you have a good job, do you have what you would consider a good life, a lot of times when we have stressful, "not worth the pay" jobs we wish we were kids again, because that's when it was a very easy life for us with no responsibility, no cares, no problems. Hope this helps.
Find yourself a man/woman that will make you feel complete.
Also do your best to excel in your career. It will give you of self fulfillment and gratification both.
Trust me and try it truly!
Just because you're 27 doesn't mean you have to stop being a kid. I watch cartoons all the time and play video games, as well as doing serious stuff. I miss being young, too. I miss pulling off playing with Barbies, Polly Pocket, hotwheels, swinging, etc. Work with kids. Maybe you can get paid being a kid ;-) you could play with kids or suround yourself with nieces and nephews and you will feel like one,.: or else use your imagination, the brain can work wonders. i do that sometimes.
MAyb u r wif friends n ppl who r younger then you. But nvm its good to be young at heart and being childish is okay as long u know where u r..me too wish i go back to my childhood days. R u having problems that u wish, u can runaway fr it..being a child again is like having no worries, face yr problems dont runaway fr it.
There's nothing wrong with missing your childhood. I'm 27, too, and it sucks having to give up the freedom of childhood. We're at the age where we're supposed to be settled into a career, creating a family, and working towards the American dream (assuming your American.apologies if you're not). I'm nowhere near that point (still in college getting my B.A.). I don't know if you are or not, but you said that you like your life, and that's a good thing.
My advise would be to just let it run its course through your mind, and eventually, the thoughts will peter out on their own. Unless you have a history of OCD. In which case, more drastic steps would be required. If not, though, don't worry too much about it. Almost turning 30 is enough to set anyone on edge.
Oh, and btw, I know I don't really feel any different inside than I did 15 years ago. I *am* different, and vastly so, but it doesn't seem like it. Somehow, it seems like I'm still the same kid I always was.
I kinda like that. So, maybe, instead of fighting your childhood, try embracing it. It's certainly more fun.
lol girl thats good, even tho your 10 years older than i am but i got a brother that age we we liek to goof and he talks about childhood stories all the time (as a kid he got into stuff and didnt get whoopings cuz he was my mom's first and she dont whoop) but he's mature when he has to be but when he's around family we laugh at anythings, but being a child at heart is good cuz it keeps you lookin young (seriously) my mom is like that she's 44 and when i met boys they think she's my sister. being a kid is somthing we all miss, we did'nt have all the stress of responsibity and grown up things to worry about, jobs and all that you are very young and going into the adult world and wishing you could be free of all the stuff you have to do now, my daughter is 27 and she has a 6 yr old and a new baby and I see her struggling and life seems so hard at that age so just pamper yourself, I take time out to do kid things for day or mabe two , nothing is wrong with being a kid at heart all your life it makes life worth living
you can only stop obsessing until and unless you do what you are obsessing about. it seems that you are a kid at heart so be a kid once in a while. you owe it to yourself to do what makes you happy. cheers!
You know.growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional. You're only as young as you feel. And the younger you feel the longer you'll be around. Don't pine over what is lost, look forward to what is ahead, and enjoy every minute of it. Spice it up and let the kid in you come out whenever possible.
Look at my profile. I've been told I have the Peter Pan Syndrome, and I take that as a compliment.
evrybody misses being a kid. everybody loves childhood.
but you have to forget and keep living your present life happily instead of spoilinf those days worrying about nothing. Each day of your life is important. So, don't waste it. Enjoy it. Forget about your childhood. You will always miss it. But thinkng about it the whole life is not the solution. I miss several things too. But to proceed further in life you have to forget about it.
i ahve the same problem but im 14.my older sister is 16 and has a longterm boyfriend and she's been going out with him for 2 years when i was 12 they started going out and i was really sad because they were really serious & i still wanted to be a kid and she wasn't anymore..
