i think the proper term for a "brain transplant" would really be a "full body transplant". only in the reverse order of what you are thinking.

your brain is you. A brain transplant would really be a body transplant. It will never be possible.
Everything that makes us who we are, from personality to memories, are functions of the brain. If such a thing ever were possible, then the person donating would simply have a new body.
