A friend was given Xanax for panic disorder, does that help anyone on here with panic?

I tried Xanax for panic and anxiety and it really didn't work well.
Then I tried Paxil and have been on it for 9 years. Haven't had a SINGLE panic attack since.
Some drugs work differently for different people, but I know Paxil saved my life without a doubt.
i take a low dose everyday works great
