How can I deal with my Schizophrenic brother?

Question: I have a family member that was diagnosed with Schizophrenia about 10 years ago and I am having trouble dealing with him. I love him but I can't stand him. He doesn't take showers (he smells disgusting) and he is a slob and needs to know what everyone is doing all the time. I am happy that he is taking his meds and he is not violent but I can't take it anymore. Unfortunately I don't have enough money to move out. I need some help. What should I do?

He needs help with daily living skills. Can you get him to go to some type of partial hospitalization program at a mental institute closeby? You go all day to learn coping skills, effective living skills-and, it is temporary(like a 2-4 week program). Good luck.
