I think i am mildly depressed...what can i do myself to help?

and sometimes i feel VERY angry, no reason, i'd just like to take some frustration out sometimes...i think its built up tension but im not sure what the cause is
what can i do myself to help build up my self esteem? i dont want anyone to know about this.

First of all you are very normal, you are not alone and this feeling will get better! It sounds as thought you are stressed and that is resulting in anxiety. It can help to understand what is causing you to feel this way; often the only way to do that is by talking to other people about how you are feeling. It also depends on your age because if you are a teenager for example then you are experiencing one of the biggest transitions of your life, both psychically and mentally and this can play havoc on you self-esteem. At that age you are young and you have many questions about your world and your future and often the answers are unavailable and this can make you feel anxious, but sometimes all you can do is just wait and see. Parhaphs you could try some relaxation techniques. Another good idea to look in a mirror and remind your self of the things that you like about your self; if you feel that you don’t like anything then this is probably more of a reflection on how you are feeling than how you look, find things that you like and tell yourself (out loud) that you are beautiful and you are! If you start too feel to bad then you should talk to your GP. Your GP will not think that you are mad or silly and you do not have to go thought this on your own.
i would first try exercising, daily...just a nice long walk...try some St. Johns Wart...its supposed to be a natural mood enhancer...i know the feeling...i'm on Zoloft for my depression and anxiety...good luck
