Is it ok to have a drink or two while taking Zoloft? What are the side effects?
Question:
Answers:
Officially, no. Unofficially, a drink or two is probably ok--I've taken a very high dose of zoloft (200 mg daily), and had a drink or two. Only difference, like someone else said, is that alcohol tolerance goes WAY down. After teetotalling for a few months when first put on zoloft, I asked my doctor if I could have a drink, and he said as long as it's a beverage and not a crutch. But I wouldn't drink more than 2, because you might not feel very well after that.
i believe if you look at your bottle, if that is, if it is your prescription, lol. NO you are not suppose to drink at all on a anti-depressent.
