Why are farts so funny in your opinion?

Question: Sometimes I think it's just because they make some people mad and it's kind of a weird thing to get mad at. Sometimes I think it's because it's sort of like your butt is trying to say something. Maybe some people want to laugh out of nervousness and don't know what else to do. I know some people don't think they're funny so this question is for those who do.

Because of the embarrassment lol. its so funny to make a fart sound when someone bends over, to see them embarrassed. Also the timing and the scene comes into play. If a guy farts during a drunken game of poker, not funny. if a guest cracks a loud one during a silent moment of a wedding. HILARIOUS!

Probaly because they are supposed to be private things, and when someone lets one out in front of you, it lets you know they are comfortable around you. Every toot is different, louder softer, they are funny. Who really knows why. But there is a time and place for letting them rip.
