How do you get over your own - or your partner's - past?
Question:
Answers:
Well, everyone has a past, don't you? Try not to think about that person's past and realize that now he/she is with you now. Judge and treat that person during YOUR relationship and not the past. If the past bothered you that much, then why did you get involved with theat person in the first place?. By excepting someone into your life, you except who they are as a hole and where they've been. Think about NOW and not the PAST!

you just let it go
what does "chasing amy" mean? and can you give example of what exactly the problem is?
Not to be cliche, but time heals all things...you just have to learn to let it go. Focus on something else, get a hobby, take classes if you aren't already in school. It's not easy, but it's definitely worth it once you are able to let it go.
SOMETIMES IT IS JUST BEST TO WALK AWAY, BECAUSE IF IT IS THAT HARD TO GET OVER, IT MUST HAVE BEEN A REAL HEAVY PAST THAT CAN COME UP AND BITE YOU IN THE ***, AS WELL AS YOUR PARTNER. SO YOU HAVE TO THINK IT THROUGH. GOOD LUCK! PLEASE LET US KNOW!
