i take it now // have been for about 1yr and i have had no side effects except weight lose which i thought was great ! i love cymbalta
Cymbalta was not the medicine for me. It caused pain in my joints and my depression to go way out of wack. I do know that it does work for some.
I did and it made me have a headache and nauseated
I took Cymbalta for over a year and didn't have any side effects to it, for the most part it worked great for me.
The only thing you have to make sure of is that the dosage of the medication your taking is the right dose. It doesn't matter what anti-depressant medicine it is, if the dose is to high for you, it will complicate a lot of things. I was taking Celexa and the doctor started me off at a much higher dose and it made me become manic, it was quite scary.
I've been on Cymbalta for 7 months now and I have not noticed any side effects however I take other mood stablizer meds too so any headaches, nausea, etc., that I get could be from that. The main side effect I have heard others complain about is headaches. Give it a chance and see if it works for you.
I haven't taken it, but I really need to find something.
It seems most antidepressants cause nausea.
Hope it works for you.
