My husband was realeased from prison a year ago after 7yrs.He says he's having trouble adjusting.Can you help?

Question: He has stayed out of trouble and been wonderful to me.He has been very patient and understanding with me,even when im being a b**ch.He gets along well with everyone and is very respectful. But every once in awhile a knack in public will say the wrong thing at the wrong time to me or my mom,and he's goin after them.Once I intervene he stops himself,which is a good thing for the other dude.Then he gets depressed cuz he feels he cant control his anger.He feels institutionalized.But he has selfcontrol cuz this has only happened twice in the year he"s been out.Other than this hes been fine.How can I help him?

This is just a thought, but have either of you ever considered PTSD? I have no idea what may be in his past, but it sounds like Something is triggering a strong reaction in him.
