how do i fix my sleep schedule?

Question:
i've been sleeping at 6am the past couple months. how could it change it back to 12 am.

Answers:
With great difficulty. If you disrupt your circadian sleep cycle (and don't do it gradually) then you can totally mash up your circadian sleep cycle. Take it back an hour every couple of nights.

Take care of your sleep cycle- I can't keep a sleeping pattern without serious medication.

Other Answers:
Set an alarm to wake up about 16 hours before when you want to sleep.

Wake up when it rings and you'll be sleepy.

Go through the day sleepy, then when the time you want to sleep comes, you can doze off easily.
Try going to bed earlier each evening, gradually, and hopefully your body clock will change back to where you want it!
Well, start going to bed at 11pm or 12am. It'd be wise to take a warm bath just before because it soothes the body. When you are lying in bed, close you eyes and try to not think about anything. You can also use ear plugs to block off the noises outside...if any. Best of luck!
It cost me a hundred dollars to fix my cat. Make sure you take your sleep schedule to a respected clinic though.
The author of The Three Musketeers, Victor Hugo, had the same problem. His doctor prescribed eating an apple under the Eiffel Tower at 6:00 a.m. every day. I'm sure the plan was only to get him awake at a certain time, no matter what, so he would be forced into a normal wake/sleep cycle. It may take a few days to get used to, but forcing yourself to wake up at a certain time may make you tired enough to sleep at the time you need to, even if you don't have an Eiffel Tower conveniently nearby, or if you're allergic to apples.

You can try just to force yourself up in the morning. It works for some people. If it doesn't work - here`s what I did:

Test what your cycle really is. You will probably wake up 4 hours before your zero point at night. So let yourself sleep until you wake up by yourself (make sure its dark so the light doesn't wake you).

You want to push this backwards. Next morning you set the alarm 4 hours before you woke up. Get a lot of light, if you can go outside for a while its best. Then you set the alarm 1/2 hour earlier every morning. If you need some extra help you can take melatonin 12 hours before you get up.

Good luck! I`ve been there!
Dude, I had that exact same problem.

Cut abck on caffeine, that had the major affect on me. That's what was keeping me up, even if I had a cup at 4:00PM, I'd still be up more than 12 hours later. Reduce it to maybe a cup in the morning, and that's it.

Also, what I had to do was start waking up very early, my desired daily awakening time. Even if you get anywhere from two to five hours of sleep, even possibly less than that, still wake up early.

And then, my last resort was to stay up all night. I was tired all day, but then I went to bed at 10pm and my problem was completely solved. Right before bed, I'd drink some sort of herbal tea (like sleepytime tea) and it gave me a more tired feeling as my head hit the pillow. You can pull yourself out of this mess! If I did it, then you certanly can too. Good luck!
