Has anyone ever used Luvox?

Question:
did it make you nauseated and give you the squirts?
how about Lamictal?

Answers:
This is usually a common side affect of an antidepressant in the first few days, you could always try starting the medication slowly, 1/4 dose for first 5 days, then half, for 5 days then 3/4 for next five days, then the full dose, any medication like this will make the body react in some way, so best to wean on them slowly, Doctors will not tell people this and tell you to take the full dose from day one, try to wean on them slowly and less side affects will be experianced.

Other Answers:
Yes, but never gave me the squirts
Never used Luvox, but I know of four people who have used Lamictal, two had very bad reactions (severe rash, hospitalization, seizures) and the other two it works wonders! Go figure....
I did take Luvox, but it was years ago and I can't remember the side affects. However, it is true that when you first start a new med like this, you may have some slightly bothersome side affects that will disapate after the first week or so. If they are not too bad, just try to hang in there and see if they subside. Or ask your doctor about building with half of your dose at first.
Good luck.
