How can I find a dentist who specializes in working with trauma/abuse survivors?
Question:
i live in Minnesota.
Answers:
I am doing a little research on this but here is a website that talks about being sexually abused and how to deal with going to the dentist. (not saying your trauma is the same)
The second link also looks really good.
I would suggest using http://www.1800dentist.com/?CMP=KNC-gsfindadentist and talking to the places you are able to find. There might be more search requirements that you could put in once getting into the site.
Good Luck!
Your therapist, if you have one, can probably give you recommendations.
