Patience is truly a virtue, but in the modern world with the fast pace lifestyles and stress of daily life even the most patient person becomes inpatient from time to time. Feeling irritable or short tempered is often a sign you need to take a break from whatever the cause, or you could say or do something you will later come to regret out of frustration. Some helpful hints; remove yourself from the situation if able, go for a light walk, count backwards from 100, do something you enjoy doing, if you are really angry do some vigorous exercise, play a solitary sport, or write down or type your feelings. Let others around you know in a polite way your having a hard day, so they will try not to bother you.
