how many people suffer from depression and anxiety w/ panic attacks?

Question:
and how do you deal with yours are you male or female how old are you and when did your problems start and are u still able to work and function on a daily basis

Answers:
I have been having panic attacks and depression since I was seven years old. I am now 28, female. One time I had an attack that lasted literally two-and-a-half weeks (not exaggerating).
First I stopped drinking alcohol, and doing drugs.
I got on an anti-depressant.
This may sound cheesy, but having positive affirmations helps as well. (Like, "Right now, in this moment, everything is alright.")
I was lucky enough to get therapy.
I learned to ask for help from people I trusted, people I could lean on.
The thing that helped the most was knowing that I could get through a panic attack, that there was an end to it.

In short,
Use every resource you have to better understand what you are up against. This is a very debilitating problem if nothing is done. But, I am now a fully-functioning, hard-working person, in a loving realtionship, and great friends. That doesn't mean that I don't have bad days, but the bad ones are better than my good days before. Good luck, and remember that many other people have been where you are, you are not alone, and you can do something about it. :)

Other Answers:
Depression and boredom of life is very much the epidemic of this generation I think - To keep yourself up you gotta keep those endorphines pumping, get active, exercise, eat life force foods such as fruit and veg, all these sorts of things will help you tremendously.

A lot of people have anxiety and/or depression. You can google the stats.

Everyone's different. If you're having trouble functioning on a daily basis, have you tried talking to someone, like a counselor or a psychiatrist? At least talk to your family doc?

a lot of people do. but they don't ever talk about it. and you shouldn't either or you could probably end up getting beat up at school. kinda like a wookie
