What in the world is going on? Strange symptoms!?

Question:
I have PTSD and chronic major depression. I have no diagnosed medical problems. Last night I was watching television when suddenly I felt what I can only describe as a sudden rush of blood into my brain, followed by a wooshing sound in my ears, and my eyes got incredibly heavy and I could not keep them open. I did not feel sleepy or like I was passing out. I was fully aware of what was happening. This lasted for about 30 seconds the first time. About five minutes later, it happened again. This time it lasted closer to a minute.

I have no idea what this could be related to. Any ideas?

Answers:
I also have ptsd and cronic depression. I have found that some meds may cause a sudden change in blood pressure while others have caused fluctuations in blood sugar levals. I am referring only to the meds used to treat these disorders. Although you should be careful useing any other substance's that are over the counter like pain relievers and antacids and also caffeine and nicotene play a big roll in blood pressure. If you cant seem to track down the source let your doctor know for sure. It could be more serious than you think.
Don't take the Brown Acid! :)

Honestly, it was probably an anxiety attack!
sounds like high blood pressure or something serious - call or go see your doctor asap.
