Who Hates Scientology?

The are uneducated misguided idoits. It is a cult that is harmful aganist society. They attack psychiatrist and their practices and the very knowledge we have gained about mental illness. No one can tell me that I don't need medication. I know I need medication because whenever I'm not on it I want to die.

No all conditions can be treated with merely exercise and vitamins. I have Bipolar disorder and need medication to soothe my depression and mood swings. I've suffered sleepless nights with terrible anxiety about nothing.

I'm a psychology major and have studied extensively on the biology of the brain. There are real defects in the brain of the mentally ill; and real pain that hurts.

Scientology offers inadequate treatments if any at all, for mental illness. A realist knows that no one should live a miserable life it they don't have to. Does anyone agree with me? I want to destroy this cult before it brain-washes the public into believing that mental illness doesn't exist

My ex-mother-in-law was a scientologist. I asked her what was the best treatment for a schizoprenic having a delusional episode...she said to orient him to reality by saying "THIS is a chair", "THIS is the wall", "THIS is a pencil". etc.

I'm a music therapist who have worked in state mental facilities. Yeah, uh-huh, lady. That would work. I'd like to see a bunch of scientologists placed inside an acute psych hospital and try their voodoo. They would probably make them more agitated and manic telling them about Ron Hubbard and his theories about space aliens coming out of volcanoes.

And if scientologists hate psychiatry so much, why don't they open their own facilites? What do they really have to offer for the mentally ill anyway?

As for the movie stars who are scientologists...they get extra special treatment. There is a "celebrity center" in LA designed specifically for them because scientologists know celebrities are high profile and can further their wack-a-doo cause.

I just hate scientology because they offer no real solutions for mental illness. Just like to trash psychiatry as a profession. They claim it was inhumane in the beginning. Which, yes, it was...electroshock therapy and mistreatment of the patients in some hospitals. BUT, many strange things happened in ALL medical fields in the beginning.

I appreciate all forms of science fiction.
