I'm not sure of the exact science behind it, but my boyfriend is on Paxil. He recently ran out of it for like a month, and told me that after it wore off, he was alot more sensitive and could feel alot more. So it probably has something to do with how it affects the way your body interperits sensation. When I was on antidepressants years ago, I would burn myself, get papercuts, bruises, etc, without ever realising it. It's like pain, pleasure, other physical sensations just become something you don't notice anymore. Now I notice every little paper cut, bruise, etc. I've been off pills for almost 6 years.
