Does anyone know what death and insects signify in a dream?

I had a dream about dead animals ( a little dead kitten) and in the dream I found him in a lake and there was another kitten that looked just like the dead one hiding behind the boat, I remembered thinking that it must be part of the same litter, and I felt really sad for the kitten. Anyway I went into my apartment ( this was a past apartment I had on campus) and for some reason was going to call the cops, I attempted to call and remembered that I didnt know the number. I walk over to the fridge and open it and there are a family of insects (they looked like a stick bug with flowers attached they were weird looking) and In my dream I knew that they were going to sting me if I didnt get them out of my house, There were two big ones and about 10 smaller ones, which I thought to be babies, I was tearing pieces out of the fridge, because the one flew at me and I knew it would sting me if I got to close. I took the one and the babies outside but had a difficult time getting the other out
