Why Zyprexa makes my body weak?

Question:
An hour or two after taking one (blue) Zyprexa pill... I feel weak.

Is it healthy and what is going on?

Answers:
Call your doctor and let him or her know what is up. Eli Lilly is the research and developer of this drug I would go to their website and look. Not to scare anyone but this company has had a lawsuit on its hands about this drug. In my humble opinion after working on a R&D site for 3 yrs. as a contractor they are just too uneasy to get drugs out before their counterparts get a patent on it. If you put in Zyprexa or eli lilly in the search bar you will see the lawsuit they are handling at the moment don't know if it pertains to you. Hang in there. I hope this helps. Warmest regards.

That is a common side effect of that drug.
You need to tell your doctor so he can switch you over to another medication that will be more agreeable to you.

At the moment it is not life threatening but weakness CAN be a sign of being hard on your liver. That IS serious.

Make an appointment with your doctor and tell him. He'll want to know this so he can treat you better.

This is very common and there are plenty of alternatives out there.
Hang in there sweetheart. You'll be fine.

But call your doctor.
yes it lowers blood pressure which can cause weakness and it also causes sedation
