I used to have similar issues and to some extent still do.. A healthier lifestyle is the key but hey i aint gonna preach that to ya because I am not one to talk.. A better or rather additional alternative is to take Korean Ginseng.. This is a herb that increases blood flow to the brain (totally natural) and given additional bloodflow it allows your brain to operate much more easily.. Memory is to do with many factors and not everybody is the same so the effect is varied.. At any rate it will always give an improvement and coupled with some healthy eating ity is possible to get significant gains..

Here are two products that can cause short term memory loss. It happened to me. Anything with aspartame in it. Or Benedryl. I took Benedryl to help me sleep. My neurologist told me about that one and had me stop. Memory is better. Not perfect, but better. You might also do a search on any medications you are taking. It's surprising the side-effects you will find. Good luck!

There are many way to improve your short term memory. The brain is like a muscle and the more you use it the stronger it gets. The are many books on the market at present which gives you certain metal exercises to promote memory.
Omega 3,6,9 complex. Or eat more fish.
Do something to test your mental agility each day - crosswords, sudoku, etc.
The brain is just like your muscles, it needs exercise to keep fit.

the brain is very much alike a muscle, so using the muscle (the brain) will help train it:
- reading books
- solving puzzles
- doing crosswords
also, an important role which has been discovered only a couple of years ago: mild exercise. It has been proven (with senior citizens, but that doesn't enter into it) that half an hour brisk walking (daily) has the same improving benefits than half an hour brain exercise.
Combine the two and you are on the right track :)
