What kind of person takes a dump and spreads it all over a public restroom?

When I was in college, I had some friends who lived in a men's dorm. There was an anonymous person they called the "Phantom S**tter", who would take a dump and then spread it all over the restroom. I'm wondering, though, what kind of person would do that. Does anyone know of any possible mental disorders that could have motivated someone to do that?

I believe that disorders relating to poo generally fall under the term fecaphillia (my spelling is probably wrong.) I once walked into a public loo, went into the cubicle and closed the door. As I relieved myself I thought 'It smells a bit - sh*tty in here'. I looked around and saw that some sicko had smeared a turd all over the back of the door. It was disgusting, but whoever had done it was clearly not thinking about their actions as they had neglected to smear any sh*t on the doorhandle, which I would have had to put my hand on leave the cubicle. I mean, what's the point of doing something like that and not even doing it properly?? Come on kids - sort it out!!!!

That is so gross.
