Why would you want a phobia? You don't really want a phobia, you just want attention, is my guess. And if that's true, then no, nothing is wrong with you--you're a part of 99% of the population, I'd say.

I suspect this is not a serious question, but just in case, I am going to treat it as one.
Do you *really* want to have a phobia? A phobia is something that you are unrealistically afraid of. It is being afraid of something in a manner that is way beyond normal. Why would you want to be over-afraid of anything?
So, if you "want" to have a phobia, yes, there is something wrong. The solution would follow the same path as if you actually did have a phobia: You need to get some counseling to discuss what is troubling you. There are plenty of therapists in the Washington area, and some referral services can send you to competant people who are reasonably priced, even if you don't have insurance coverage.
You probly just want to feel more like other people. Most people have a phobia. You probly have one that you don't know about yet and if I were you I would see a counsler. I have a feeling you already have one and that is the phobia of feeling rejected I don't know the exact name of it but that's just a thought. Oh and don't throw yourself of a bridge.

everyone suffers slightly or big from this disorder and it is perfectly normal to want something no matter how outlandish it may seem to others! So cheer up your alright with me!

I should write a book about all of the dumb things I have overcome. I've gotten irrational fears of about everything on the planet, but I've also learned to overcome them, and it was only through me that i could do so. What you have to do is admit to yourself what you're afraid of. List reasons why NOT to be afraid anymore. And then, the alst task is to come near or do something that you're afraid of. It's kind of like 'confronting your fear' as I like to call it, because you literally experiance your fear. Mostly, we fear things because we don't know the outcome of what happens when we experiance them, so once you have done that you'll know that you do not have to fear anymore. Have some courage within your bones to tell yourself 'I'm not afraid anymroe', and it will come true. I hope this helps, nobody except for YOU can overcome it for yourself.
Well, try not to be claustrophobic.... sometimes even having too many people in a movie theatre can throw me into a deep anxiety attack, it is not cool or enjoyable in any way.
Maybe you do have a phobia -- a phobia of not having ia phobia.
Most phobia's are caused by an extreme event in a persons childhood, it may have seemed like nothing to those around, but to the child it caused an unbelievable sense of fear, and the fear, now often seemingly irrational, is because it awakens memories of that fear from childhood -- at least that is what my Counseling/Psychology professor at university told us.
