Is there something wrong with this kid?

Question:
I'm a junior in high school, and today during notes in history a kid (nerdy type, never talks) out of nowhere started to masturbate (everything was under the desk but from the other side of the room it was far too obvious) and he seemed to tune everything out, and i wondered if he even knew he was doing it. Is there a .. compulsive sexual disorder he might have?

Answers:
Yuck! That's terrible!
Whatever - great imagination
Sounds over the top to me.
iew! thats gr0ss what the **** is his pr0blem..thats s0 bizzare.
This could be mental, did the teacher notice? Hopefully he will get help. You may want to let the teacher know if he does it again.
If you can keep it to yourself and not tell the other kids, you are a very good person. Go talk to the school nurse, she will help him.
if nothing else he at least needs to talk to a therapist and learn there are right and wrong places for this kind of behavior
Who knows maybe he just thought he could get away with it.
Or maybe there is something wrong with him.
Wow, that's crazy. Report this poor fellow to the teacher, please.
He sure saw a sexual relationship of a couple for a period of time. or saw a sex movie.
i think
The act of masturbation is perfectly normal but at the very least this kid is finding a very inappropriate place to do it. You should tell the teacher and at least ask to sit somewhere that you won't have to see it. He may need to be referred to a counselor that can discuss the need for privacy when he wishes to masturbate.
I definitely think you need to report it to the school nurse or counselor, whichever one you feel most comfortable talking to. And also the one that would be most discreet about it, the young man needs Help not to be scorned or made fun of.
I work with menatly and physically handicap adults and i have a client who is also non-verbal and will masterbate at inappropriate time! the doctor said he does it when he feels alot of stress or is anxious about something. this could be what is wrong with him!
