Answers:
Anxiety can do a lot to you including irregular heartbeats.

Other Answers:
If you feel you have an irregular heartbeat, you should get yourself checked out by your doctor.
yeah it will cause it to beat faster than normal cuz you are making it pump harder to get blood to the rest of your body
it could just be an increased heart rate that you're feeling (feeling like your heart is beating out of your chest). Heart rate and blood pressure increase with anxiety - and also with physical exertion. If you are worried, see a doc, they can listen to your heart to be certain your rhythm is normal, and if they felt it was needed, they could even do a stress test (where they hook you up to monitors and have you do mild physical activities such as walking and jogging on a treadmill).
Most likely everything is normal, but talk to your doc if you need peace of mind.
If you sweat a lot you best get your potassium level checked. that can cause irregular heart beat. Best also get a stress test to see if there might be other problems. If you are a regular runner and are having these symptoms you need to see a doctor and maybe even a cardiologist. Now! Last summer my stress test look "a little odd" and it turned out that my front heart artery was 99% blocked and I would have likely had a massive coronary and died within the next 48 hours. They fixed it. I never had a chest pain only some "irregular heart beats".
Anxiety can indeed cause the heart to beat irregularly. Or can cause you to actually notice more.

If you feel there might be a problem, by all means get it checked out.

Good luck!
No, you will not have. Its not normal to have an irregular heart beat if you are anxious. You may have a fast heart beat, but it should not be irregular. If you have irregular hear beat, its another case.

Your heart copes to your increased activity by pumping blood faster.
