What are some ideas that a home body can try out for fun?

Question:
I'm trying to get out of my life-long rut of being a home body. What are some things I can do for fun that don't involve sex (I've got that part down) or anything illegal or mean.

Answers:
I have to find the motivation myself often to get out and do stuff. It's difficult in some ways to suggest activities because i do not know where you live. For example I have begun kayaking a couple times a month. It's only 15 bux to rent and i get out and have fun. Also, for 12 bux last weekend i went ice skating at a local rink. There were other adults there and i didnt know how to skate but had fun anyways. I also found a class that is 77 dollars a month in Tae Kwon Do. I can go as many times a week as i want, so this allows alot more freedom without having to adhere to a rigid schedule and worry about missing class. You can take a class through your local community college. They often offer NON CREDIT courses you can just pay for (very cheap) without having to become a student and all the stuff. Also, check your community bulletin boards for group meetings, activities. If you wanna go Zero dollars, start riding a bike, or become an Avon lady. They have to get out and go to homes and hang stuff and what not. Then you could make some money too.

Other Answers:
take a sign language class!
carpentry works bud....do some neat china cabinet for your wife....she'll love you more....
Do something outside. Go ride a bike or go for a walk. Go swimming in a pool or the ocean.
Depends on where you live. Many newspapers have a weekend section that lists lots of free (and inexpensive) events to attend.

Bowling & billards are usually kind of cheap.

You could also take up roller blading, bicycling, swimming, photography, or a lot of outdoor hobbies that do not require a lot of money to participate in (other than the initial outlay for the equipment).
