Fascinating question, one of the most intriguing questions to date here on youqa.com s. i belive this phenomena is known as astral projection and have attached an interesting article on it. Also known as out of body experiences. I have had unusual experiences that I would put on the border of this phenomena that I believe are explainable by neurotransmitters in the brain to make it just seem that way. Once in winter the snow and ice was packed hard and jagged on the sidewalks and I tripped over jagged ice and I swear everything went into slow motion and it's like I was not in my body anymore. I pitched forward and did a flip into the ice and landed quite harmlessly but it felt like it took an hour. It's probably scientifically explainable, adrenaline and workings of the brain we don't completely understand yet.
No, I don't believe it can happen. I believe that once the body is seperated from the spirit, the body is dead, since I believe that it's the spirit that gives the body life.
So if the man is sleeping at home, there his spirit would be also, not in view of the other man.

i have a native american friend that talks about this. it is part of her heritage. its comforting at times to know that she can be there in spirit even if she cannot be there physically.
