Does anyone know what could cause me to be obsessed with a people based on looks?

Question: I have had this problem for a while, but noone has been able to help me with it. It usually involves a fascination with a person because of the way they look. Sometimes I like their looks and other times I can't figure out what it is about their look that fascinates me. I find myself wanting to know as much as I can about these people and creating imaginary worlds with them. Anybody got any ideas that may explain my behavior?

It looks like it stems off of your insecurities w/ yourself. Do you ever actually talk to these people? Try being more self-confident about yourself, and hopefully you will be able to start having normal relationships w/ these people instead of fantasy ones.

Ever see the movie shallow hal with Jack Black? I think you are suffering from the same thing. Honestly, you really have to get to know people, because some of the most beautiful girls are so snobbish, conceited, etc that there attitudes make them ugly. I know you want to have an intial attraction, but if you take a minute (some longer,lol) you may find something you like about that person inside. Don't be superficial

You are totally normal...you SHOULD dig deeper ,though..so many people are SOOOO beautiful on the inside...you have no idea what you are missing.

You may have obsessive compulsive disorder. If so, nothing to freak out about. You can get medicine to help. Look up the disorder on line and see if it matches your symptoms. Tell an adult so they can help you. It might lead to other issues if it is usresolved.
