similar deaths in the family?

Question: When I was 12, my mom passed away. I came home alone from school one day and found her body on the couch. She was completely colorless and gray. She'd been gone for a long time. It was unexpected and a shock to the family.
My aunt, her sister, died in the same fashion only a couple of days ago. And my cousin found her in the same manner I found my mother. I'm VERY concerned about him. When it happened to me, I spent the next couple of years in extreme depression and I missed out on a lot of my pre-teen and early teen years. I'm afraid this will happen to him, as he has already begun to withdraw into himself as I did. Any suggestions on how to help him?
