Do you think the 'mental health' and 'psychology' sections should be merged?

Question:
Personally, I see myself bouncing back and forth- however, there seems to be a bit different flavor (this area being more for laypersons, psych more academic).

Peace.

Answers:
psychology and mental health aren't the exact same thing, so no - they shouldn't be merged. a lot of people have a psych degree that doesn't really go that deep into 'mental health'.
I know an Occupational Therapist who did way more 'mental health' in her degree than I did in my psych degree. Mental health isn't as scientific as psychology. Psych is more critical and far more varied in topic.
nope
mental health...it's about diseases
psychology..about issues
Psychology is studying how the brain works
and Psychiatry is attempting to remedy mental illness. So, no!
