2, almost 3 yr old daughter, saw a "boy" in her room...?

Question:
Does this mean she's got a problem? She won't sleep at night AT ALL unless we drug her. She'll stay up all night long just screaming and crying.
She saw this "boy" when her light was on and there were no shadows or objects to make her imagine this thing from something.
She doesn't watch scary movies or shows, doesn't hear scary stories.
To her "boy" means male, doesn't matter the age, she just knows there's a difference between the sexes in appearance.
She said his eyes and mouth were scary, and she screamed for me to come to her and pointed at where it was. I waved my hand where she said it was then she said it went away and her face relaxed, though she didn't, and hasn't slept since.
I saw similar things while growing up and was never diagnosed with anything. But what could this be? What causes this? If it's schitzophrenia, what are other symptoms associated with this illness?

Answers:
There might be a male adult who did something to her...you best get to the bottom of this asap...it don't sound like mental problems to me...but a traumatic event....she has not forgot the impact of it either...not trying to be paranoid..but I would really check this one out and put her in my room if i had to for a while..she will sleep better and you won't have to give her meds.
could be a ghost. children see things adults can't
