It was her legal duty to warn the person. There is case law on it, which I seem to remember is called Terzoff, or something like that. If she did not warn the potential victim and you did harm him, she would be held liable.
Just goes to show you it is not wise to say just everything and anything that comes into your mind to a shrink.

you might want to avoid coming within 50miles of that person for a while, or you could scare them, that would be funny, but only if you don't really kill them
