Dear Pookie,
Maybe this will help you some. Some of the adverse effects of seroquel are:
Somnolence, headache, dizziness and hypotension, dry mouth, dyspepsia, constipation, tachycarda, weight gain, agitatioon, syncope .

Hypotension (which fits into the catagory that you describe) meaning low blood pressure....it would be in your best interest to notify your physican of this problem as it is not good to have low blood pressure as well as high blood pressure. There is suppose to be a happy medium for a good maintance of blood pressure. 120/80 is great. However, blood pressure is related to a number of situations: It depends on your height, wt. age, and some blood pressure difficulities are because of gene make up from our families.
If your blood pressure is down to 60/40, 60/30 and you feel as though you can't function nor focus on the task at hand.... then it would be best to contact your physican and let him know...You may want to have someone to check your blood presssure pluse and keep a record of this for a few days, with this in mind you have a written record that you can present to the Doctor I would suggest that you take it four times a day---as such---upon arising in the am......noon........afternoon-... before going to bed......Seroquel is a potent and very powerful medication and should be monitored by your physican and lab work every few weeks....I hope that this answers your question and I wish you the very best....
hmmm Seroquel is very potent....I didnt even take a half of one and I was knocked out in 30 minutes for like 3 hours.....but other than that it didnt have any bad side effects...just kinda made me goofy before I passed out
