Tourettes???

Question:
Can tourettes syndrom cause you to have a short temper or be easily frusterated without reason why? I have tourettes and sometimes I get like this. I'll get angry and not have a reason to be, or I'll get really frusterated and not know why i feel that way. I talked to a guy with tourettes who says he feels the exact same. I'm just wondering if it has anything to do with having tourettes.

Answers:
My son, who is 11 has TS. He is easily frustrated. It takes a lot of patience just to get simple tasks done, and for a pre-teen, that's hard! Yes, he sometimes states that he's mad, but for no reason. It does not last long and he's not violent or anything. It's just the frustration of having 1000 interruptions an hour to your life. Getting into a rhythm of things can be tough.

I don't think it's the Tourettes itself that causes it, but the effects of having it on your life that cause the frustrations.
I think it's just a frustrating disorder in general.
