why dont you see a therapist? Then you can figure out why you have this obsession and where it comes from. Then you can see if it is just something you are interested in, or if there is some deeper reason you are drawn to it.

For others, interest in ghosts, vampires helps them go beyond the physical world into another realm that is beyond death. I think that this last point may suggest that you have a spiritual side that you haven't really developed yet. Maybe it's worth exploring?
