I'm always depressed, should i go on mental disability?
Question:
Answers:
No. You should go to a Dr and a therapist. Get some counseling to help you work through your depression. Your Doctor can put you on anti-depressants and/or do blood work to see if you have underlying problems that are physical.
Getting a check from our government each month isn't going to do a thing for your concentration, happiness or quality of life. You're still going to have all the issues that you have now. Might as well take steps to correct your problem (I don't mean problem in a derogatory way, I mean your issues making you blue) so you can enjoy life to the fullest.
Concentration issues could also be related to things like hypothyroid, ADD/ADHD, etc.
Go see a doctor. Many communities have counselors you can see for free or for a sliding scale lowered fee. Call places like the United Way or community resource centers for more info.
why don't you try to find help for your problem, so it doesn't become a disability?
