Working through a funk...?

Question:
I wouldn't say that I'm depressed, but I'm definately in a "funk"; I'm just not happy with any aspect of my life right now. What's the best way to find the path back to happiness?

Answers:
I usually ride the funk out for a bit - sometimes you just got to appreciate the down side of life. Then, after a day or two, I am able to really get a handle on things and figure out the cause of the funk.

Favorite paths to happiness -
Jim Beam & Coke (I'm a happy drunk)
Ron White videos
Goofy 80's movies (think Footloose)

Other Answers:
stop and put a finger to what exactly you are not happy with...then set goals on how to change those aspects. Once you are taking charge of your life and seeing a difference being made through your actions, you will snap out of your funk...

Good luck!
I feel the same way..and I do not know what to do either. I have to make myself get up and go do normal everyday things. I feel all weird at work and sometimes loose concentration. I have found that getting more exercise helped some. Hope you feel better!
Happiness can only be found from within. It may sound cheesy, corny or fruity- but that is the truth as I know it. Perhaps being in the funk is the better of your options, if you can imagine that.

Many people out there, here and everywhere seem not satisfied with the current situation. Of course, there are valid reasons for the dimay of many- illness, loss of a loved one, financial issues, relationship issues, just about anything you can think of could cause an unpleasant feeling.

A quote that may get you going:

Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Be grateful for what you have, 'cause you have more than most.

I like to look up quotes and get some ideas to help me through the funk.
You need to find what will make you happy. A new job, living somewhere else, new friends, new hobbies, joining new clubs. Change can be good.
